It's allowed me to challenge myself academically and socially and has given me friendships that will last a lifetime. Stop trying to kill our fun, IIT. Seriously.

- Keep those confessions coming in. I see there have been a lot of complaints about IIT. The point of this group was for you to reveal your SECRETS anonymously. All confessions are posted as is with no edits.

If you know what I mean. - #23: i feel that half of this school whines and complains over everything small. get over it. you go to a good school, in a great city, with some cool people.
- #22: I think IIT is awesome and I don't know why people complain. Sure, if it had more money, it could enlarge and beautify the campus, but it's a kick ass school. The professors here actually care and they actually make you work for an A. And I LIKE the iPads and the Innovation center. More IIT'ers need to learn what innovation is.
- #21: I dont regret even one second of my IIT life. People who complain will always find things to complain about but if you try to make the best of it you'd be amazed at what you can gain from your time at IIT.
- #20: Don't get me wrong, I applaud the administration for trying, but I feel like so many of the new initiatives are just gimmicks (iPads, Sustainabiliity, the Innovation Center, engineering portfolios "IIT is the only known US university with such a system").
I wish they'd just commit to more conventional routes to excellence. Most people aren't aware, but in the 1950's IIT was the largest engineering school in the US... look at us now.
We don't need new tablets, we need to attract world class researchers. - #19: I feel like I see the same few dozen faces involved with activities/clubs all over campus. Am I just crazy or does most of the student body spend all their time hidden away, not interacting or talking?
